Yes. We will be hosting regular "Meet & Greet" parties in major cities throughout North America to provide GirlfriendsMeet.com members with a safe place to meet other lesbian and bi-sexual women in person. Information will be posted in the Events section of the website.
Are there nude pictures of lesbian and bi-sexual women posted on GirlfriendsMeet.com?

How do I get member matches?

When will my Membership expire?
Depending on what Membership Plan you chose, your Membership will expire in either 5 days, one month, three months, six months or a full year. Why should I become a Featured Member?
Featured Members are displayed on the member homepage of GirlfriendsMeet.com for all to see. Therefore, you MUST post a photo and complete your entire profile to be considered. What are the guidelines for creating a profile?
We expect all Members to refrain from inappropriate or offensive messages with sexual content, inappropriate language and please refrain from posting nude/intimate photos. Also, refrain from putting any alternative email addresses(i.e. yahoo, hotmail, aol etc.) in your profile. Any profiles not in compliance with our rules/regulations will be subject to deletion. As well, all Members should be completely honest when they fill in their profile. In fact, being honest in your profile helps you, since you want other Members to like you for who you are. If you feel that some of the information in your Profile is inaccurate, you can update it. Click on the "My Profile" button on the top of the Member's Homepage; then click the large "Update My Profile" button.
What are the guidelines for posting a photo?
Photos must be clear and we should be able to tell who you are, so be careful when using group shots. Usually, Members don't want to see you with your ex, so we suggest not using that type of photo. Also, stand alone photos of objects such as cars, motorcycles, etc. are not allowed unless you are also in the photo. Photos of children or pets are ok.

I get contacted by members from countries such as Ghana and Russia with questionable photos and/or financial solicitations. What can you do about this?
We have a small group of individuals who are on GFM for purposes other than finding lesbian singles. Unfortunately, we don't have a way to keep unsavory individuals from using GirlfriendsMeet.com. We've tried many...many...many times in the past to control this problem on our other sites, but all they do is come back using a different username and email address. This problem is not unique to GirlfriendsMeet.com alone - ALL dating and community based sites are reporting this ever growing problem worldwide! We recommend that you use the block feature to try to cut down on their communications with you. In order to use the block feature on our site, you must first receive an email contact from the member that you would like blocked. At the bottom of the email, you will see a button marked "Block". Once you click on that button, that member will no longer be able to contact you via email or instant chat.
I have AOL or MSN and am having trouble trying to create a new profile. What should I do?
If you are you using the browser built into AOL or MSN, our site is not compatible with AOL and MSN's browsers. As an alternative, what you can do is start up your AOL or MSN and login, diminish the program (don't close connection) and then open up MS Explorer from your Start Menu.
