J K Rowling
J K (Joanne Kathleen) Rowling is an English fiction author who was born in 1965. She is best known for the Harry Potter Series. In 1996, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was published and by the following year it was a word-wide success and titled "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in America. She continued on to publish seven more books in the series. Children, young adults and adults alike have enjoyed the Harry Potter Series and these books have spawned a successful film franchise as well.
