Dexter
Dexter is an American television crime drama series that aired on Showtime from October 1st, 2006 to September 22, 2013. Orphaned at the age of three and harboring a traumatic secret, Dexter (Michael C. Hall) was adopted by Miami policeman, Harry Morgan (James Remar), who recognized his homicidal tendencies and taught him to channel his gruesome passion for human dissection in a "constructive" way — by killing only heinous criminals who have slipped through the justice system. When Dexter grew up he began working for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analyst.
