My Story

I'd love to meet someone with energy and curiosity. A weekend with my daughters usually includes swimming, bike riding, trips to the zoo, to the health club. Weekends without them I still don't like to sit still. That can mean trips to Chicago, Galena, a movie, a restaurant. It can even be just doing yard work as long as we're doing it together. I'm just not one to sit and watch TV often -- although a good night just laying on the couch is its own kind of fun.

The newspaper industry is struggling so I'm juggling part-time jobs in the summer and winter as well as a gig writing water quality blog posts for my sister's company in Minnesota -- I've discovered chlorine can be nasty stuff, but that's for another conversation. I plan to go back to school in 2012 to get a Masters and perhaps find a new career. I've seen too many people cast adrift without having a backup plan.
