My Story
A purveyor of perspectives, and collector of wisdom, I am a modern day vagabond with chivalrous tendencies. My childhood dream was to travel, with more of an interest in gaining the perspectives which come from being well traveled rather than simply checking destinations off a list. Having grown up on a small farm with a big family in the mid-west, I have a calm demeanor which tends to fit the stereotype which that background conjures. However, I am an adaptable person with a quiet charisma that is easy for people to be around.
I have a list of interests which grows daily, and pursue learning new things with intention. However, I devote equal attention to my body and soul aspects. An avid outdoors-man, enjoying bicycle camping trips/tours, backpacking, climbing, and kayaking as regularly as possible (just discovered the Seattle Bouldering Project, and would love someone to climb with). As to the soul, my selected modes of expression are guitar, and writing, and I am always working
Ideal Match
My ideal match? Well, I only have 2 real prerequisites - that they have an ambition which they pursue with some dedication, and that they are active and adventurous enough to at least keep up with me.
Beyond that, I am pretty flexible. I guess my ideal match would be someone that wants to travel with me, with whom I can share the sights and sounds and smells of The Road, reflecting on memories and achievements and challenges overcome (or which over came us). Having traveled alone for this long, I now desire someone to share that with.
