My Story

I swing dance, I knit, I bring home little kittens that I find at gas stations, I geek out over Firefly and Doctor Who. I practice hot yoga, I run because I like it (although at first I ran because I needed it), and I am imperfect. Whew! There. It’s out.

I'm adjusting to life without having to go to school like a crazy person, so I've made some big changes in the past few months: graduated, got a great job, moved to a new area of town, and am just trying to figure out what comes next. I’m pretty laid back and can find almost anything enjoyable with good company. I love to be in relationship with other people, and prefer quality over quantity. My friends and family are important to me, and are a big part of why I am who I am.

There are some things that I am excited about doing in the future, such as volunteering at some point at a health clinic in South Africa (an opportunity currently being developed through my church). I’m also training for the Flying Pig half-
