I am just one of the thousand who is a DC transplant. Originally from St. Michigan I brought with me some of my Mid-western manners. I'm more open minded than most Mid-westerners as I have my own viewpoint but will not be influenced by popular thought or causes.

What do I seek in a female, someone who is direct, open communication, honest, authentic, respectful, caring, sincere, romantic, and passionate and she is seeking a long term relationship. Baseball fans get bonus points.
Therefore, I feel the need to explain my “dating philosophy”. I'm happily single and it takes a lot to convince me that I should become involved in more than a casual friendship with someone.
I prefer to be sure of what I’m potentially getting into and you should be as well. It takes me a lot more than a few dates for me to get to know someone well enough to know whether or not to pursue something more serious.
