My Story

I am from Pennsylvania and many friends have been calling me a "modern day nomad" since I was 18. I spent a year studying abroad in Denmark and Ireland when I was in college where travel developed into a life-long passion. This passion has found me in 30 countries on 6 continents during periods when I dedicated my life to a self-proclaimed "socio-cultural experiment". That experiment has never truly ended for me. Seriously, I really enjoy new experiences and believe that most people grow from being 'outside thier comfort zone'. For me, nothing compares to being in a foreign country as a non-native speaker. The challenges seem endless and it is extermely rewarding.

Regardless of where I am, I really like doing things outdoors. Some of my favorite things to do are snowboard, hike(including extended backpack trips), mountain bike, and just be in nature. I also really enjoy meeting new people, seeing old friends, and catching live music. It is just plain fun.
