My Story

I am a dedicated student and a frustrated barista. I drink coffee in the mornings when the light in hazy and take long pulls of cigarette smoke to greet the day. I procrastinate but try hard, because I am a learner. I love anthropology and sociology, environmental science and origin theories, indigenous culture and storytelling. I love philosophy and the human mind, the way our thinking creates the physical environment we inhabit, analysis and the web of human understanding that we make in conversation. I love arts: micro and macro, paint or pen, real or surreal, mine or others. I mark the passing of the days with the art that I have created, often art that celebrates the female form, but sometimes of the people and memories that keep on moving and keep on disappearing. I love to write: to pull out the salient and often hidden details that illustrate a life. I try poetry and prose and I'm working on both of them, but no writing is ever finished.
