I laughed when I saw this video about The Six Lesbians You’ll Date Before You Die and I just had to share it. I am sitting here thinking where do I fall into this list or what types of girls would I end up falling for.

1. The Softball Player – “Excess baggage”
2. The Lipstick Lesbian – “The pillow queen”
3. The Closeted Lesbian – You are in there with her!
4. The Straight girl – “The lesbian heart breaker”
5. The Feminist – Too many deal breakers!
6. The Best Friend – Oh no, I am dating myself

Here are some simple tips on how to pick up the ladies!

Style – Don’t be afraid to change up your style a bit. Whether you go out and buy some new clothes to change up your wardrobe or get that new stylish haircut. By feeling fresh and good about the way you look, you will carry yourself with confidence and it will show.

Maintain eye contact – By keeping eye contact this shows trust and that you feel comfortable and confident around them. Try not to look away when you are talking to them.

Compliment her – If you really like something she does or says, tell her in that moment how you feel. By drawing attention to her and giving her compliments, she may feel more comfortable around you.

Communicate – Make sure when you are having a conversation not to interrupt her. Let her finish her sentence. If she asks you a question, pause think about what you want to say. By taking the time to respond it shows that you are intently listening to what she has to say and shows respect.

Have fun – If you are interested in her try some harmless flirting through playful touching. If you are both feeling a good vibe a little playful touching like touching her arm or small of her back is ok. Keep it to a minimum though, you don’t want to bee too touchy-feely on a first or second date. 

Be Confident – Even if you are having a bad day go into the date with confidence. If you show confidence you will have a better chance the date will go well and it will show your date that you are up for a good time!
